Ceramic filter is a new type of solid-liquid separation equipment with high efficiency and energy saving, which appeared in the 1980s. In 1998, Global Creationm Technology Ltd. developed PC series ceramic filters with independent property rights and successfully applied them to the filtration of iron concentrate. At present, the product has been widely used in dehydration and filtration of major mining enterprises at home and abroad, such as iron ore, gold mine, copper mine, lead-zinc mine, phosphate mine, fluorite mine, etc.
The shape and mechanism of the ceramic filter are similar to the working principle of the disc vacuum filter, that is, under the action of pressure difference, when the suspension passes through the filter medium, the particles are intercepted on the surface of the medium to form a filter cake, and the liquid flows out through the filter medium to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation. The difference is that the filter medium - ceramic filter plate has micropores that produce capillary effect. The capillary force in the micropores is greater than the force exerted by vacuum, so that the micropores are always filled with liquid. Under any circumstances, the ceramic filter plate does not allow air to pass through. Due to the absence of air, the energy consumption is low and the vacuum degree is high during solid-liquid separation.

Comparison with traditional filter
The vacuum degree is high, up to -0.098mpa, and the water content of filter cake is low, which is generally reduced by 2% - 4%.
Low energy consumption, only 10% - 20% of the traditional filter.
The filtrate is clear and transparent, and the solid content is less than 21mg / L, which can be recycled or discharged.
Production is pollution-free, environmental protection meets the standard, safe and reliable
Ceramic plate has long service life, easy replacement and low labor intensity.
The dewatering cost is only 18.8% - 40.1% of that of the traditional filter.
The equipment operates automatically and continuously, with low maintenance cost and high filtration efficiency.
Scope of application: ferrous metallurgy, nonferrous metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials, water treatment
